Set of six copper etchings with original hand-colored paint in gouache style by Michelangelo Maestri. After the frescos in Cardinal Bibbiena's bathroom in the Vatican, done by Raphael in the year 1516. These six stunningly and exceptionally beautiful engravings belong to an extremely rare series: Ora di Giorno - Ora di Notte (hours of day - hours of night) in which there are 12 different engravings altogether. These are the six hours of night.
All in fabulous green paint and giltwood frames with faux ivory matts.
